Download — free, no emailWhat's inside
- 9 sections covering company overview, scope, integrations, timeline, evaluation, and submission
- Built-in pricing transparency clause — disqualify vendors who hide pricing behind sales pipelines
- ANZ-specific data residency, GST, and carrier integration criteria
Who this is for
CFOs, COOs, operations leads, and procurement teams at ANZ SMBs and lower-mid-market businesses running an ERP selection process. Equally useful whether you are scoping a NetSuite-class implementation or a modular ERP pilot — the structure flexes to either.
How to use it
- 1Download the Markdown file and replace the bracketed placeholders ([Your company name], etc.) with your operation's real values.
- 2Customise Section 3.1 (modules in scope) to match your actual pain points — most ANZ SMBs land on 4–8 modules. Use the OpsUI module recommender quiz if you are not sure.
- 3Send the completed RFP to 3–5 vendors with a hard pricing-transparency requirement. Pair with the vendor evaluation matrix template for scoring.
FAQ
Is this template really free?
Yes. Free to download, free to adapt, free to redistribute. Attribution appreciated but not required. We publish it because every "how to buy ERP" guide needs a template, and most existing templates are either bloated (60+ pages, 200+ questions) or US-centric (no NZ GST handling, no NZ Couriers, no ANZ data residency clauses).
Do I need to give you my email to download?
No. The download link goes straight to the public file. We deliberately do not lead-gate this — the template is the value, and gating it would reduce its reach.
Why Markdown instead of Word?
Markdown is universal — paste it into any document editor (Google Docs, Notion, Word, Confluence) and it renders cleanly. It is also easier to version-control if you are iterating with your team. If you need a .docx, paste the Markdown into Google Docs and use File > Download > Microsoft Word — the formatting carries over.
How is this different from a generic Gartner / Capterra RFP template?
Generic templates are written for US enterprise procurement. They ask 200 questions that mostly do not apply to ANZ SMB and mid-market operators. This template focuses on what actually matters in the ANZ market: pricing transparency, data residency, native carrier integration, native Xero / MYOB sync, and direct vs partner-led implementation.
